Dräger Polytron 2 XP Ex
The Dräger Polytron 2 XP Ex is an explosion proof gas detector for continuous monitoring of combustible gases and vapours in ambient air.
Product benefits
- Three possible Signal Outputs
- The Dräger Polytron 2 XP Ex uses state-of-the-art microprocessor technology to convert the signal from a catalytic bead sensor to a 4 to 20 mA analog or HART® or RS 485 digital signal output.
- Easy Handling
- The Dräger Polytron XP Ex is designed for one-man calibration and offers a variety of diagnostics and self test features. The configuration and calibration of the transmitter is menu guided and easy to perform, using either the infrared remote control, the built in push buttons or a HART® hand held terminal. With the optional on board relays, Dräger Polytron 2 XP Ex can be operated as a “stand alone” unit.

Literature
List of detectable gases and vapours.
For over 70 years, Dräger has been one of the technology leaders in gas detection.
Safety Instrumented Systems are used to reduce the risk for the protection of people, plants, and environment.
Explosion hazards mostly arise from flammable gases and vapours. Instead of avoiding their ignition by explosion protection measures it may be preferable to detect them before they become ignitable.
