- High thermal stability
- The Dräger HPS 6200 is characterized by a high thermal stability. This stability is achieved through the helmet shell made of high-temperature resistant Duroplast additionally reinforced by state-of-the-art aramid fabric which can resist open flames as well as radiant heat. Another highly efficient heat protection is provided by the integrated, chin covering visor made of extremely robust, highly thermally resistant Polysulphone (classified as face protector according to EN 14458).
- Special robustness
- The HPS 6200 protects the head against penetration and impact effects, even under high thermal stress. As the helmet shell has been compression-molded using the SMC method and furnished with an optimized finishing, the Dräger HPS 6200 features an extremely high robustness and paint-bonding and offers system-imminent fire protection.
- Perfectly matched to mask-helmet adaptation systems
- Adaptation systems allow for combination of the HPS 6200 with the new full face mask FPS 7000 or full face masks Panorama Nova . Three different helmet-mask adapters are available: Supra-connection, S-fix or Q-fix connection. The 3-point connection option of the mask receptacle at the helmet allows for an easy and individual adaptation to different head shapes.
- Outstanding wearing comfort
- Wearing comfort and good climate. One aspect is the comfortable interior design and padding which prevents pressure marks at the user's head. A new, integrated flame and heat barrier provides always a good helmet climate, and an improved ear clearance at the chin strap provides optimized acoustics. Thanks to the new Velcro fastener, the chin strap can be adjusted easily and fast - a huge advantage when using a full face mask with head harness.
- Great selection for individual requests
- Within the Dräger modular system, the HPS 6200 can be combined individually with various accessories. A great selection of mask connections is available as well as a wide color palette for helmet shells and front plates. Accessories to be integrated, such as adapters for communication systems, lamp holders or ear protectors, can be ordered along with the helmet. Upon delivery, these components are already integrated into the helmet.

The Dräger FPS-COM is the first fully integrated mask communication system, especially developed for professional use by firefighters and the emergency services.
